South is hosting a collection box for the “Well-Equipped Period” drive again this year during February for women’s toiletries for local women’s shelters, survivor safe houses, food pantries, resource centers, and schools. This group has put and stocked the red carts in our female restrooms here at South. You can bring items to the donation box set up at N102, Mrs. Scafidi's room, or the Nurse's office in the PAC.

It's time to pay your technology fee for the 24-25 school year!
Payment can be made online through Online School Payments or at school with cash or check made out to SIHS.
The technology fee and any outstanding invoices must be paid in order to receive a district device. Students will be unable to purchase a parking pass, purchase prom tickets, participate in sports, clubs, or any extracurriculars if these fees are not paid.
Muhammad Fawwaz and Maxwell Grace together are NC state winners for the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow STEM contest. They've won $12,000 of Samsung products for their classroom with their invention AI Eye. Their winning entry is a wearable device used by visually impaired individuals that scans the environment and audibly communicates the objects to the user,

Beginning October 16, 2024, South Iredell High School will be implementing a Digital Device Policy. This policy is based on a school board policy 4318 and serves to provide the most conducive learning environment for our students. Parents - please review the policy with your students.

If your student needs a bus for the current school year, you must complete the Returning Student Information form. Just click on the Enroll button in the top right hand corner of the ISS Website, choose Returning Student and complete the form. You will be asked for a Snap Code. This was emailed to you on June 13th. If you did not receive it, please email Laura Elliott at lelliott@iss.k12.nc.us for the information. This will allow to request transportation.
